Cell Phones for Soldiers Drop-Off
Got an old phone collecting dust? Drop it off at our shop. We support Cell Phones for Soldiers, a charity that turns retired phones into free calling minutes for active-duty military, veterans, and their families.
About the Program
Cell Phones for Soldiers is a national 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 2004 by two teenagers from Massachusetts who wanted to provide service members a way to call home. Since then, the program has provided millions of dollars in free communication tools to active military, veterans, and military families.
How It Works
You drop off old phones. The charity refurbishes or recycles them through partner programs. The proceeds fund prepaid calling cards, smartphones, and emergency funds for service members and veterans in need.
What You Can Drop Off
- Smartphones, iPhones, Androids, any condition
- Older flip phones and feature phones
- Tablets
- Phone batteries and chargers
- It's okay if the device is broken or non-working
Before You Drop It Off
Please factory-reset your device if it's still functional. This wipes your personal data, photos, and accounts. If you can't reset it, we can still accept it, but we'd rather you protect your privacy first.
Drop-Off Location
Stop by Perry's Quality Auto Repair at 2180 First Street, Suite C-10 in Simi Valley during business hours (Mon-Fri 8 AM to 5 PM). There's a clearly marked drop-off bin in the waiting area. No questions, no paperwork. Just a small thank you for supporting our service members.
Why We Participate
Many of our customers and team members have served or have family who serve. Hosting a Cell Phones for Soldiers drop-off is a small way for us to give back. Every phone counts.
